Using KaSenyas

KaSenyas is a Filipino Sign Language learning app. These terms apply when you create an account or use the app. By proceeding with signup or login, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not create an account or continue using KaSenyas.

Your account

Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in credentials private, and use an account you own or are authorized to use. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password where available and contact the KaSenyas team through the app's store listing.

Respectful and responsible use

• Use KaSenyas for lawful learning and practice.
• Do not impersonate others or use a display name or profile photo that is offensive, sexual, hateful, or harasses or abuses others. Learners can report names and photos from the leaderboard, and KaSenyas may reset a name, remove a photo, or hide an account from leaderboards.
• Do not access another person's account without permission, disrupt the service, bypass security controls, or manipulate learning results and rankings.
• Respect the rights of people who create the app and its learning materials.

Learning materials

You may view and use the lessons, sign videos, illustrations, and exercises for personal learning through KaSenyas, including its supported offline features. Other uses of protected materials require permission from the relevant rights holder unless allowed by law.

Signs can vary across communities and contexts. Lessons, quiz results, and automated fingerspelling feedback support practice; they do not certify fluency or professional interpreting qualifications. Automated recognition can make mistakes.

Privacy and device permissions

Our Privacy Policy explains how account information, learning activity, and device data are handled. Camera-based practice requires your permission. You can decline or revoke camera permission and continue using features that do not require it.

Offline use and availability

Some features work offline after the required content or media has been prepared on your device. Creating an account, signing in for the first time, and syncing data require an internet connection. Locally recorded activity syncs when a connection is available. Content and features may change, and access may be interrupted for maintenance or technical reasons.

Stopping use and deleting your account

You can stop using KaSenyas at any time. To delete your account, open Profile → Settings → Delete account, or use our public account-deletion page if you cannot access the app. See the Privacy Policy for information about deletion and retention.
